From the cable in the wall to the edge firewall

We do the physical layer and the logical layer. Most providers do one and subcontract the other, which is where accountability gets lost.

Structured Cabling

Cat6 and Cat6A copper installed to TIA standards, properly dressed, labeled at both ends, and terminated in an organized rack. Every run tested and certified, with the results handed to you as documentation.

Fiber Optic

Single-mode and multi-mode fiber for building-to-building runs, riser backbones, and links that need to outlast the equipment on either end. Fusion spliced, tested, and documented.

Switching and Routing

Managed switching designed for the traffic you actually run. VLANs, quality of service for voice and video, redundancy where downtime costs real money, and configurations documented rather than improvised.

Wireless

Site surveys before installation instead of guesswork. Access points placed for actual coverage, on channel plans that do not fight each other, with separate networks for staff, guests, and devices that should never touch your servers.

Firewalls and Edge Security

Properly configured perimeter security with rules that reflect your actual traffic. Most small business firewalls are running near-default configurations that permit far more than anyone intends.

Server and Rack Infrastructure

On-premise servers, UPS, cooling, and rack layout done so the next person can work in it. Clean cable management is not vanity, it is what makes a 2am failure a ten-minute fix instead of an hour of tracing.

Infrastructure questions we get asked

Yes, and that is deliberate. When cabling and network configuration are split between two vendors, every problem becomes a debate about whose fault it is. Single accountability for the physical and logical layers removes that entirely.

Depends on distance, density, and how long you expect the install to last. Cat6A costs more per foot and takes more space in pathways, but supports 10 gigabit at full distance. For a space you plan to occupy for a decade, it is usually the right call. We will give you a straight recommendation based on your building, not on margin.

Yes, and you get the test results as part of the handover. An uncertified install means an intermittent fault six months out becomes an argument instead of a warranty claim.

Yes. Most cutovers and disruptive work get scheduled for evenings or weekends. We plan around your operations rather than expecting the reverse.

As early as you have a floor plan, ideally six to eight weeks out. Cabling has to happen before furniture and often before the space is finished, and lead times on switching and circuits are frequently the thing that delays a move.
